Post-BMT Phase

The Post-BMT Phase is the longest phase of a blood and marrow transplant. It begins following the bone marrow infusion, and continues throughout the recovery period. The Post-BMT Phase usually involves:

1. Engraftment
2. Managing Low White Cell Counts
3. Managing Low Red Cell Counts
4. Managing Low Platelet Counts
5. Transfusions
